A Denton County woman is facing attempted capital murder charges after authorities say her husband and two young children, ages 3 years and 10 months, were found with stab wounds inside a home early Tuesday morning.

According to the Northlake Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive on Tuesday at approximately 4:20 a.m. regarding a stabbing in progress.

Officers were informed that a male subject reported that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him.

Police said officers arrived within minutes and detained an adult female. They also located an 34-year-old man who had been stabbed in the head.

While officers conducted a protective sweep of the residence, they discovered two small children had also suffered stab wounds, police said. One child was three years old, and the other was ten months old. Both suffered stab wounds to the chest.

Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene and transported an adult male and two children to a Fort Worth hospital. An adult female was transported to a Denton hospital for observation and possible injuries.

According to the police, the adult female, identified as 37-year-old Holly Leeann Flores, was treated and released from the hospital, taken into custody, and transported to the Denton County Jail. She has been charged with two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
