(KRON) -- Community members are gathering Monday morning for an 8 a.m. rally at Brookside Elementary School following the discovery of antisemitic graffiti over the weekend. Demonstrators are uniting in support of Jewish families and calling on law enforcement to investigate the incident as a hate crime.
This incident marks the third time antisemitic graffiti has been discovered at the elementary school. Community members previously advocated for security cameras to be installed after earlier occurrences to help identify those responsible, but those cameras have not yet been installed.

The district's maintenance team is working to remove the graffiti from the school grounds. Additionally, school counselors are being made available Monday morning to assist students affected by the incident.
A community rally is scheduled to take place at 8 a.m. Monday at the elementary school.
